SUSPENS Project held its 18-month meeting on June 12th and 13th in Espoo, Finland. Hosted by Aalto University, representatives from the 13 partner organizations gathered to discuss the project’s latest achievements and progress towards its goal of reducing the environmental footprint of composite structures in the automotive, leisure boat, and aerospace industries.
R-NanoLab presented advancements in the production of multifilament bio-based fiber precursors in collaboration with Centexbel for sustainable carbon fiber production within WP2. Additionally, there were discussions on recycling approaches for conventional thermoset composites within WP4, a work package led by R-NanoLab.
