Suspens Project reached its second Annual Meeting on the 21st and 22nd of January in Nice. Hosted by the Côte d’Azur University, representatives from the 13 partners came together and discussed the project’s progress and achievements towards its goals of reducing the environmental footprint of composite structures for the automotive, leisure boat, and aerospace industries.
R-NanoLab presented the advancements in the production of multifilament bio-based fiber precursors in collaboration with Centexbel for sustainable carbon fiber production within WP2. Furthermore, discussions on recycling approaches for conventional thermoset composites took place within WP4, where R-NanoLab is leading.
