The National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) opened its doors once again on September 26th, 2025, for the 12th annual Researchers’ Night, welcoming visitors to its Zografou Campus to celebrate science, innovation, and creativity. The event brought together researchers, students, and the public in a dynamic exchange of ideas and hands-on demonstrations, showcasing how research shapes a sustainable future. R-NanoLab’s team presented the PRecycling project, which develops innovative ways to recycle plastics from packaging, electronic devices, textiles, and toys, transforming them into 3D printing materials that promote creativity, sustainability, and circular economy.
The team also showcased the reCLAYM project, which revives the ancient art of pottery by studying Greek clay resources and reconnecting traditional craftsmanship with modern sustainable practices.
