PRecycling Project partners gathered in Manisa for the M42 meeting, held on October 21–22 and hosted by Arçelik. Partners discussed the latest updates, final milestones, and next steps toward the successful completion of the project, which promotes sustainable plastics recycling and circular economy practices. The meeting featured engaging discussions, on-site technical exchanges, and detailed planning sessions for the final project phase.
In addition to coordinating the project, R-NanoLab contributed significantly to the technical work by leading Work Package 2 (WP2), focused on recovering and converting recyclable materials into high-quality recyclates. Specifically, R-NanoLab was responsible for sampling and analyzing materials for recycling (Task 2.2), as well as recycling, upcycling, and compounding of recyclates (Task 2.4).
The meeting concluded with a tour of Arçelik’s facilities and laboratories, and a visit to the Ephesus archaeological site, providing an inspiring close to a productive and forward-looking event.
