The laboratories of the National Technical University of Athens opened their doors to more than 5,000 visitors from March 12 to 14. Among the labs visited was R-NanoLab, where guests had the opportunity to explore the lab’s equipment at the Semi-Industrial Laboratory of the School of Chemical Engineering. This equipment is used for processing and recycling plastics as part of the European project PRecycling, operating at a scale that closely simulates industrial conditions. This initiative reinforces the collaboration between the School and the industry in the development and study of new processes and products.
Visitors also had the chance to explore a variety of 3D printers enabling Additive Manufacturing through Fused Filament Fabrication.
