The last in-person meeting of NanOER Erasmus+ project was held in a hybrid format on October 14th at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura in Sevilla. During this productive meeting, all five partners reviewed their progress and outlined future actions, coordinating their efforts and exchanging valuable insights regarding their respective contributions to the innovative project. R-NanoLab presented its achievements from the project, including statistics on how many schools at NTUA are utilizing LCA, as well as pilot courses and suggestions for future applications.
NanOER project provided nano-product manufacturers, construction sector professionals, and environmental managers with the knowledge needed to understand the environmental and health impacts generated during the manufacturing, application, and disposal processes of commonly used nano-products in the construction sector. Additionally, it developed an innovative educational platform that includes multimedia material on life cycle analysis (LCA) and calculation guides for treatments with nanoparticles, aimed at educating and training professionals in the construction sector using a holistic approach that encompasses environmental health and safety.
