Last Monday, on the 18th of December, the 1st NanOER International Seminar was organized by RNanoLab and hosted in the School of Chemical Engineering, at NTUA. The Seminar was devoted to the Educational Platform for LCA of Treatments based on Nanoparticles applied to the Construction Industry. The project objectives and scope were presented by Prof. Costas Charitidis. R-NanoLab activities related to nanoparticles used in cement-cased nanocomposites were presented by Irene Kanellopoulou. Our colleagues Prof. Anestis Vlysidis and Valia Tsotoulidi described the use of LCA in the School of Chemical Engineering and School of Civil Engineering, respectively. Two invited speakers (Paraskevi Karka and Federico Bruno), shared their insights on advanced LCA techniques. More than 50 people, including students from NTUA and other Universities attended the event physically, together with people from industry and relevant sectors.
