iClimaBuilt 50M Meeting

The 50-month meeting of the Horizon 2020 project iClimaBuilt took place in Athens, Greece, on June 3rd and 4th, hosted by the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). Representatives from the 27 partner organizations, including Project Coordinator Professor Charitidis of NTUA, convened to review the project’s final status ahead of its conclusion.
During the meeting, R-NanoLab presented the finalized project timeline to support planning for the upcoming final review meeting, along with the results of the project’s product assessment.

iClimaBuilt aimed to establish an open-access ecosystem for the development, upscaling, and testing of innovations in building envelope materials and technical systems, through its network of 9 Pilot Lines (PLs). The ultimate objective was to contribute to achieving Nearly Zero Energy Building (nZEB) performance. In parallel, iClimaBuilt supported small high-tech companies in scaling up and addressing increasing technological complexity, helping transform research outcomes into market-ready innovations.
