On June 6, a workshop on Efficient, Lightweight, Sustainable Advanced Materials was held in Brussels, Belgium. Organized by HaDEA and project advisor Dr. Kotsikos, the workshop brought together numerous research initiatives funded by the European Commission under the Horizon Europe framework program.

The event aimed to address these challenges comprehensively by informing industry stakeholders about the latest research actions and results in the field. It also facilitated dialogue between the research community and industry to discern industry needs, future strategies, and to align research and innovation priorities with forthcoming investments in the EU. 

During the workshop, R-NanoLab presented its projects Repair3D and EuReComp, alongside sister projects RECREATE and MC4. The workshop concluded with a collaborative session that set the stage for continued advancements and partnerships in the development of sustainable materials.
