BLADES2BUILD project held its 3rd Annual Meeting on February 18–20 in Madrid, Spain, hosted by PreZero. Representatives from the project’s 14 partner organizations, along with the Project Officer, participated in the meeting and provided valuable feedback. Discussions focused on the current status of the project, key milestones and achievements, and the work plan for the upcoming final period.During the meeting, R-NanoLab, as Work Package leader, presented recent progress on End-of-Life composites characterization within WP1. Further discussions were held within WP2 on recycling strategies for thermoset composites derived from end-of-life wind turbine blades, where R-NanoLab contributes through chemical and thermal recycling treatments. The meeting also included a visit to PreZero’s recycling plant as well as Holcim Spain’s facilities, offering partners valuable insights into industrial practices relevant to the project’s objectives.
