The 8th International Conference on Engineering Against Failure (ICEAF), hosted by the Hellenic Society for the Study of Failure Analysis and held in Kalamata, Greece, brought together experts to discuss innovations in failure analysis and engineering design.
R-NanoLab made a significant contribution to the conference with two presentations during the “Strategies for Failure Mitigation in Lightweight Structures” session. The lab presented two research topics: “Core Shell Rubbers for Toughening and Life Extension of CFRPs”, and “Integrated Strategies for Structural, Thermal and Fire Failure Mitigation in Lightweight TRC/CLCi Composite Facade Panels”, which focused on iClimaBuilt Project.
