REWIND Project held its first progress meeting on November 6th and 7th in Isigny-le-Buat, France. Hosted by partner Suez, representatives from the 14 consortium partners gathered to discuss the project’s initial achievements in addressing end-of-life treatment solutions for wind turbine blades, with a focus on reuse, repair, and recycling. R-NanoLab’s team is contributing by proposing innovative methods and solutions for sizing short-chopped recycled carbon and glass fibers, improving their quality, and reusing them in new materials. The meeting also featured a tour of the Suez facilities, showcasing the decommissioning and sorting processes for EoL wind turbine blades in WP1.
