The 21st International Conference on Manufacturing Research (ICMR2024), held from 28-30th August 2024 in Glasgow, Scotland, featured the incorporation of the 38th UK National Conference on Manufacturing Research.

During the conference, a special session was dedicated to our European project FAST-SMART. In this session, our colleague, Myrto Dardavila, delivered an insightful presentation titled “Investigation of the Development of CNTs and CNTs Containing Coatings on Thermoelectric Materials.”

Furthermore, our colleague Dionisis Semitekolos made a substantial contribution by presenting a keynote presentation titled “Advancements in Manufacturing Lightweight Structures” and a presentation titled “Design and fabrication of prototypes with modified materials for race & automotive applications” during the special session on Advancements in Manufacturing Lightweight Structures.

The conference provided a valuable platform for sharing knowledge, fostering collaborations, and exploring new research directions in manufacturing, further advancing the field on an international scale.
