Our Colleague Dr. George Konstantopoulos participated to the OIP-2023 conference with an invited presentation in the session “Exploring Open Innovation in OITB, SSbD Initiatives and Platforms”, titled Materials Characterisation Challenges to Support the Industry Transition in the Digital Era. 

Overall, the OIP-2023 Conference provided ample networking opportunities, and facilitated the exchange of ideas for researchers, industry professionals, policymakers, and innovators from Europe in the very relevant and emerging topics of circularity and twin transition of open innovation in the field of materials modeling, design and manufacturing. The primary objective of OIP-2023 was to foster an environment of openness, transparency, and collaboration in materials design and manufacturing, break down traditional silos and facilitate the exchange of information between academia, industry, and other stakeholders.
