The Open Day Business event of NanoMECommons project was organised by CNAT and hosted by Ansys UK on the 3rd and 4th of July. The aim of this event was to give visibility to the specific target groups of stakeholders, shareholder, investors presenting the project and partners solutions developed within the project to address the challenges of multiple industries related to materials performance assessment and structure optimisation.
During the workshop, Professor Costas A. Charitidis, Project Coordinator, presented the main achievements and impacts of the NanoMECommons project. Moreover, Dr. Georgios Konstantopoulos showcased the accomplishments of R-NanoLab within NanoMECommons, including the development of high-speed nanoindentation protocols with depth sensing capability, catering to a wide range of heterogeneous materials within NanoMECommons’ industrial use cases. Also, R-NanoLab presented tailor-made artificial intelligence algorithms developed to exploit data and correlate mechanical properties with structure recognition.
