3rd International Colloquium on Tailored Carbon Fibres

The 3rd International Colloquium on Tailored Carbon Fibers, hosted by TU Dresden, took place from the 20th to the 22nd of March. Organized by RCCF, the colloquium provided a platform to share the latest scientific and technological research findings in the realm of customized carbon fiber development. RCCF, the Research Center Carbon Fibers Saxony, is a collaborative research initiative involving the ILK Institut für Leichtbau und Kunststofftechnik at TU Dresden and the ITM Institut für Textilmaschinen und Textile Hochleistungswerkstofftechnik, focusing on tailor-made carbon fibers for advanced multifunctional structural materials.

R-NanoLab made notable contributions to the colloquium through two presentations, highlighting ongoing work within projects Carbo4Power, EuReComp, and Suspens.

Mr. Dionisis Semitekolos presented on “Novel Sizing Formulations for Carbon Fibers,” while Mr. Stavros Anagnou discussed “Design and Manufacture of Sustainable Processes for Recovery and Production of Carbon Fibers.”
