The EsSENce COST Action aims to develop a scientific & technological innovation hub at European and International level, focusing on advanced composite materials reinforced with carbon-based nanomaterials for sensing applications. The main focus is to combine manufacturing technologies with innovative nano-enabled composite materials for the fabrication of smart devices with new functionalities.
Professor Charitidis joined the meeting as WG1 leader, related to network activities, fostering interdisciplinary communication, and promoting knowledge exchange while aiming to engage new scientists and support young researchers.
Our Colleague Dr. Kate Trompeta gave a presentation titled “Development of CNT-based nanocomposites with ohmic heating capability towards self-healing applications in extrusion-based 3D printing technologies.”
