Dr. Georgios Boukakis is an Agriculturist, specialized in Animal Science, graduated from the Agricultural University of Athens. He holds a PhD in Biological Chemistry (biochemistry/molecular biology) acquired from his scholarship tenure in The National Hellenic Research Foundation.
His research interests focus on the intersection of biotechnology and materials science, particularly the application of nanotechnology in biological and agricultural systems, sensor designs for biomedical applications and biomanufacturing of biopolymers.
