Dr. Theodoros Tsatsoulis is a Theoretical Physicist, that graduated from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). He holds a M.Sc. in Physics from the University of Stuttgart and obtained his PhD from the Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien).
He develops and applies quantum chemistry computational methods to investigate the behavior of electrons in materials. This research helps understand catalytic mechanisms and mechanical properties of solids, bridging the gap between theoretical quantum physics and computational materials science. His experience in European projects spans topics from computational chemistry to geospatial information systems (GIS), remote sensing, and machine learning techniques.
He has authored over 10 publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and awarded the Prize of Excellence from the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research of Austria for his doctoral dissertation.
