Artemis Kontiza holds a BSc in Materials Science and Engineering from University of Ioannina. She has received her Master studies on Material Science and Technology at National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). Currently she is a Ph.D. candidate of the School of Chemical Engineering of NTUA.
Her research interest focuses on reinforced polymer matrix composites and on the development of material formulations for use in additive manufacturing technologies and their process optimization. She has worked on epoxy-based composites materials for the manufacturing, the mechanical properties and the characterization of these materials. Furthermore, she is experienced in the response and self-healing abilities of carbon-based CFRPs. Her research work has been published in scientific journals, presentations and posters at international and domestic conferences.
