Constantinos Balias is a Mechanical and Aeronautic Engineer, graduated from Technical University of Patras. He has accomplished his Master studies on Material Science and Technology of National Technical University of Athens. After completing his postgraduate studies he continued working as a researcher on European projects in research group of advanced, composite nanomaterials and nanotechnology (R-Nano group) of Chemical engineering department.
His research work is highly releated with thermoplastic materials extrusion and carbon fiber production processes. Moreover, he provides technical support services to R-Nano research group. Parts of his research work have been presented in national and international conferences and several publications have been emerged as well. His work experience is mainly related with extrusion processes; he has attended seminars in German companies Dr Collin and Coperion; carbon fiber production processes and design of experimental procedures.
