Eleni Gkartzou holds a BSc in physics and MSc in Materials Science and Technology. Her research interests include the development of new polymeric materials and nanocomposites for Additive Manufacturing and AM process optimization strategies based on application/material-specific criteria.
To this end, she has developed dedicated methodologies for quality inspection and evaluation of 3D printed structures and AM feedstock processability, including thermal/rheological analysis, mechanical testing and non-destructive evaluation via micro computed tomography.
